Normally after a long run my legs are quite sore, especially the quads and calves and I walk around like an old woman for a couple of days. Yesterday, however, I rubbed some Tiger Balm into my calves and quads to see if I could ease the aches a little bit. Got up this morning and I could not believe it, there was no pain in the calves at all. Wonder stuff this Tiger Balm. Sure it stinks to high heaven and people know when you're around them, but I didn't realise just how good it was. Will definitely use it after every long run now....and for those who haven't heard of it, you can buy it in the supermarket down the aisle that sells the toothpaste and vitamins. Food wise, I'm very happy with what I ate today. Wish I could say that every day! But if I can follow this sort of eating pattern for a while at least, I'll be very satisfied.
